IACC-USA Mission:

To serve the needs and growth of Indian and American businesses and professionals at local, national and international level

IACC-USA strives to provide networking opportunities for business professionals to develop economic, commercial and financial relationships. The Chamber is also involved in business related education as well as advocacy of issues pertinent to business owners. We are a 501(C)(6) not-for-profit organization and was established in the year 2003.

Objective and Goals:

  • Facilitate a network of successful businesses to foster economic, commercial and financial relationships
  • Provide source of information to promote bilateral investment opportunity in India and United States
  • Promote, encourage sales of goods and services between Indo-American business communities
  • To serve as a trusted and influential advocate of Indo-American businesses at all levels of government


How is the Chamber working for the Indo-American community?

Networking – By providing several opportunities for members to network with each other, thus facilitating the building of business relationships and partnerships
Marketing – By offering opportunities to businesses to market their products and/or services via sponsorship of Chamber events
Information Exchange – By inviting successful entrepreneurs to share their experiences and tricks of the trade with Chamber members
Resource – By providing mentoring opportunities to owners of successful businesses and start-ups, thus facilitating the transfer of knowledge to start, develop and grow businesses
Advocacy – By participating in the Council of Chambers of Commerce and by partnering with institutions like the Detroit Regional Chamber and Automation Alley to influence political issues that promote business
Public Relations – By partnering with other prominent organizations such as India League of America, the Michigan Democratic Caucus, MAI Family Services, provide an avenue to interact with local community members
Community Service – By participating in group outings to donate time and money to serve local charitable organizations

Above all, IACC provides opportunity to interact with other professionals and businesses within the community.

Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Activities include:

Business After Hours Mixers – Monthly activities, which provide an excellent opportunity to network with other IACC-USA members
Meet Market meetings – Monthly activities in a small group hosting focused discussions and opportunities to support and collaborate with other IACC-USA members
Women Empowered – Our newest initiative to support women entrepreneurs and women in leadership to network and support each other and give back to the community of young women
Business Education Seminars – Provides ongoing seminar presentations and panel discussions on topics and aspects of business ownership and enterprise
Annual Golf event in August – An opportunity to golf with business partners, building off-site bonds or mingling with other chamber members
Annual Banquet in November – A forum to salute the success and contributions of the Indo-American community business owners and professionals
Annual holiday mixer in December – An opportunity to network with friends and build new relationships in a relaxing casual environment
